Meet the Hygienists

Hygienist

It’s great to be a part of a team that provides truly personalized care to our patients, focusing on their individual needs and helping them meet their dental challenges. I spend a lot of my day offering patient education, in order to help each person make healthy decisions in order to maintain great oral health. I assess and treat oral health conditions and provide dental hygiene services, including scaling and root planing. During my time off, I’m most often with my husband and our two boys. I enjoy many things, but especially love the outdoors.

I love helping our patients achieve and maintain a healthy, beautiful smile. It’s amazing when I see a patient take to heart the lessons about how to keep their mouth healthy between cleanings and make real changes in their habits and behaviors, leading to great oral health. A lot of my work is one-on-one care, performing root planing and scaling, and routine scaling, too. I am married with one child and a Labradooodle named Oscar. I enjoy golfing, shopping, and snowboarding.

It is a great feeling to help people attain and keep a healthy mouth. I spend a lot of time educating each patient about proper home dental care practices, healthy eating, and how to establish good habits. I also perform scaling and root planing, and routine scaling care. I am married and my husband and I have 3 wonderful children. I enjoy yoga, golf, and spending time with friends and family.

My favorite part of my job is working with people and helping them achieve a healthy smile through effective hygiene care, home care, and education. I joined the Crawford Dental Clinic Family as a temp in 2013 and acquired my part-time position in 2017. I feel very fortunate to work with doctors and a team that are so focused on our patients’ care. I enjoy spending my free time with friends and family.

Hygienist

I began my career in dentistry as an assistant in 2003 and became a hygienist in 2011. I believe that the best way to improve my patients’ health is to build relationships with them founded with trust. It is so rewarding to see the progress my patients’ make over the years when they take what they have learned and apply it to their own health. I am married to my high school sweet heart and we have three boys. We enjoy golfing, dirt biking, yoga, camping, and snowboarding as a family.
