Meet Dr. Mike McKee

I believe our mouths are linked to our overall health. My goal is to help people understand the importance of their oral health care so they can live a more healthy life doing what they love to do.

My team and I work together to ensure that optimal care is provided to our patients. We genuinely care about our patients and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure they are comfortable, well cared for, and have a positive experience. At the end of the day, we know we are successful when we see the happiness in our patients’ faces when their treatment is complete and they can smile once again.

Education and Continuing Education

I decided to join the dental field to help make a difference in improving people’s lives. I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan in 2012.

Continuing education enables me to explore new developments within the dental field. It allows me to provide my patients with current practices and techniques in helping them have a healthy mouth and body.

Since graduating, I have attended Dental Development Seminars Live Patient Program in Guatemala, Clinical Master Series on Ultimate Occlusion, Implant Seminars Continuum Graduate and Live Patient Program placing implants in Dominican Republic, and the Next Level Practice Complete Health Dentistry Program. I am also a member of the Canadian Dental Association and the American Dental Association, both of which provide several continuing education opportunities throughout the year.

Outside the Office

I live in Lethbridge with my wife and our three young children. My favorite way to spend time is with family doing something together. We enjoy participating in numerous team and individual sports and having fun outdoors. We also enjoy seeing new places and travelling. Personally, I enjoy reading and listening to books for self-improvement in a variety of topics including dentistry.

I also enjoy being involved in seasonal community sports programs through coaching or assisting. I think it’s important to see future generations learn concepts such as fair play, hard work, and teamwork.
